Yeah, I was in the leather shop the other day and noticed a couple of these leather masks hanging around. Did not think much of it until this post.

Seems to be a work on from pony play. Although in those photos I don't see to many masks made up like Corgis or Daschunds, they all look a bit Great Dane, Scooby Dooish, Marmaduke like. You would think a fetish for guys would lean to the Wolf, Dingo or wild dog theme, along tribal lines.

Domestication, maybe that is what it's all about. Being domesticated and trained. Sort of throws up a few blockers for me.

Not my thing when it comes to leather play though.

I found the black leather "hellhound" masks wonderful on a sub BUT that's as far as puppy play went for me.
Actual puppy play was a complete turn off.

I did find a pet play forum with an attached singles finder - a pet shop if you will, but the fucking site
looked like Strawberry Shortcake had vomited over it. Smiling cupcakes and swirled frosting
motifs done in pale pastel colors make me want to rip my fucking eyeballs out.

I've done pet play from both sides in the past. I never found pet play outright sexual/a turn on, but fun, endearing, and things like that, yes. I know a few pups, kitties, and ponies out of the smattering of kinky folks I know.

Just to clarify for those who do not know, being into pet play has no correlation to being a furry. I don't think less of those into that kink, but furry and pet play are not the same kink.
