Question For The Single Men

I've been fairly upfront about the fact that I have dated in the past. You just want to troll me. This is about the end of my responses to you in This thread.
"fairly upfront" about sums things up. Yes, you've mentioned dating. The fact that until now nobody has questioned you about why you preach no dating for "smalls", but don't practice this, does not mean the contradiction doesn't exist...only that nobody has bothered pointing it out. I am.

And you can tell me this is trolling as many times as you want, but it doesn't make this legitimate question a troll. I'm not trying to upset you. I'm not trying to change the subject. I just want to know how a "Small" who says "Smalls" shouldn't date has any dating standards. That's spot-on the thread topic.

I can't say my standards have increased , nor decreased.

Rather, I have just become more perceptive in avoiding the kind of woman I never wanted in the first place.

I mean, I never wanted to marry an alcoholic... I just didn't find out she was an alcoholic until after our first child was born.
I never wanted my next relationship to be with a woman with a borderline personality disorder... I just had no prior experience of the warning signs.
Now I do.

These days- when I dating a woman who brings notes to our lunch about everything that I have to change about myself to be with her... I clue in quick that she's not the girl for me and vamoose.

I still want the same kind of woman I always have- one who is loving and accepting of the man that I am, because I am going to be loving and accepting of the woman she is.
Its just that I have become better at identifying the women who will not be able to offer that loving acceptance, no matter what they claim.
Alcoholics, Narcissists, Control Freaks... etc.

Thank you for great answer.

I think the concept of standards increasing or decreasing doesn't make much sense. There is no better or worse, just different. My standards, I would normally say tastes, have changed as I have gotten older. But what my standards are and what standards are for anyone else isn't really something scalable. You can't argue that one set of standards is better than another because it is arbitrary. It might match more closely with what your standards, or the standards shared by a majority of people, but it doesn't make them better or worse, just different.

If I am attracted to someone who is the antithesis of societies standards of beauty, it doesn't mean that I have low standards because I am simply attracted to what I am attracted to. It is the pinnacle of my standards, even if it doesn't compare to the standards of society.

How can you have high standards as a small? Somewhat counterintuitive.

Wally is not a small. He has an above average dick as his pictures show.

I just stopped dating entirely, but my penis has nothing to do with it. Age has many effects.
