Quick measuring question

What's the general rule for measuring girth? My head is big, about 5.75" around when boned up, but the shaft goes down to somewhere between 5.25 and 5.5, depending on where it's measured. What do you guys use as your measurement - where it's thickest or along the shaft?

Some measuring sites recommend measuring three different places. The circumfiicene at the glans, the mid shaft and also at the base.

Compute the total of these three and then divide by three to obtain the average.

If it's not a consistent girth, measure each differential point and average them.

Not sure. I wrap a dollar bill around my mid section and its like a 1/4 gap and the ends don't touch. So, guess that's pretty thick but not sure what average is. Have a buddy that gets a 1/2 inch gap when wrapping it around.
