I don't like being so unconstructive but Lowe's character, Owen, is a dumpster fire.

He's fueled by his own bullsh*t and garbage characterization, he spreads to "literally" every part of the show and eats everyone's storylines, turning every part he touches to ash, and he suffocates the other characters by sucking all the oxygen out of every scene he's in (which is basically all of them). In return, the audience gets a choking black smoke of hot air and narcissism that makes you want to pass out every time he's on screen.

If there's one fire the show needs to fight, it's that one.

In his mind he is, so he'd enter any negotiations from that perspective. He's definitely the lead and the biggest name involved, though I suspect that has more draw for new watchers (of whom there are probably few) than people who've stuck with the show for years.

While I think Gina Torres is the most talented member of the cast, Sierra McClain's character is really the heart of the show to me. She's the 911 dispatcher, Judd's wife, Tommy's best friend/confidant, and by far the most grounded, sensible character. She's going to leave a big hole.

Yeah... As someone who watches the show, I wasn't even being sarcastic when asking that question, I was just genuinely confused if he was the draw for many other people. There's nothing about Owen that screams "favorite anything," and he's not anywhere near a, say, a Bobby Nash. But ok. Yeah, this is about what I thought too lol.

Check the credits. He worked out an EP deal separate from his acting contract, so he will have rights that the other cast members don't.

I know it’s an extreme longshot but I’d love a Tarlos spinoff maybe in a style like modern family where it’s their daily life but also how they were in earlier seasons with the spicy scenes

It's a Ryan Murphy show and Ryan is well known to reuse actors across his shows, so I would be shocked if Rafa didn't end up on AHS or something else once Lone Star ends.

AHS is supposedly ending in the next season, so Rafael might appear in some of Ryan's upcoming projects. I just hope he has nude scenes in whatever series he gets cast in.

Let's just pretend that TK and Carlos move somewhere and there's a spinoff with them. Or they could join the OG 911. Carlos could be Athena's partner and TK could join Hen and Chim as a paramedic for the 118.
