Random thoughts

Cops react so violently and claim to be fearful for their lives because they know how they would react if forced to suffer the same treatment and indignities young black men endure every day.

Cops know their actions are unfair, bigoted and militaristic to the detriment of the communities they police. Cops know they are provoking an inevitable retaliation to oppression.

Since I can't post in the aaw, I must say that I love going to flea markets and farmers markets. My wife hates that I always go to antique shops.

Plus, I have this pretty sweet lowered Radio Flyer wagon that I take with me. You read that right, I lowered a Radio Flyer wagon.

No wonder you’re married! That woman scooped you right up, you and your sweet ride!

I got tired of carrying all the heavy fruits. I am a delicate flower. Hahaha
That’s exactly how I see you. A delicate flower, an orchid if you will, easily broken under the weight of the burdens of life. :joy:

Hello,
I'm Ms.Bonfire and I'm a tomato seed addict.

Well this morning I just couldn't quell the desire to gaze at the steamy tomato
section of the on-line seed store.
All teh plump juicy roundness just begging me from the page.
And...and...and....they make the descriptions so sensual...so mouthwatering.
Before I knew what was happening I had filled my basket and punched in my
credit card details and pushed send.
*sigh*

I need help.

Spot the Archey's frog above
“Our frogs are just hanging on," said Conservation Minister Eugenie Sage yesterday, about a new DOC report on the survival of native frogs. "There’s no doubt they’re still in grave danger.”

Of all the world’s amphibians, the Archey’s frog is one of the weirdest. This ‘living fossil’ hasn’t changed much in 150 million years.

Volunteer firefighters
Gaza, Beetle, Lily and Jaq, Inky, Tootle, Shrek and Skippy—every town and community has them. They style themselves as ordinary people, but their lives and service are anything but. Unpaid and unheralded, they are our first line of rescue in 65,000 emergency calls a year.

not, that we are celebrating international day of the dog,but

Nestled in the mountains of Costa Rica, the Territorio de Zaguates no-kill dog shelter is heaven on earth for more than 1,000 rescued stray dogs. Founders Lya Battle and her husband Alvaro Saumet have been taking in strays from the streets of San José for more than a decade. Upon arriving at the sanctuary, each animal receives its own name and has free reign to roam over 378 acres of lush tropical land.

In Land of the Strays by filmmaker Adrian Cicerone, see what drives the passionate woman behind this canine oasis and hear her story of rescue and redemption.

These Cattle Chased a Suspect Through a Field
Cows are often sheepish and submissive. But if they feel like they are threatened or their offspring is in jeopardy, they will attack.
