Real Geeks and Nerds group....

I wanna create a REAL geeks and nerds social group. I wanna meet all the real nerds and geeks like myself here on LPSG. And I don't mean just a group CALLED "The Real Geeks and Nerds group" but a group with REAL geeks and nerds in it. And I want there to be some sort of crazy ass 10-20 question test of nerd/geek knowledge you have to pass for admittance. Anybody down to join? :biggrin1:

When I say Nerds I mean the intelligent geeks.:biggrin1: But mostly I mean video game, sci-fi, cartoon, big bang theory'esque, anime, manga, etc lovers......

I'm sorry, man but I don't think you can qualify as either a geek or a nerd with abs like yours. I know, I know you might like comic books and see youself in spandex rescuing a cat from a tree; play Red Dare Redemtion until 4:00 am or have taught yourself to speak "Klingon", but dude, good abs get you excommunicated.

You're going to run into some problems but maybe they can be worked out, you've got tech nerds and then you have hands on nerds.
Tech nerds are good at writing computer programs & are the ones in the original thought process when it comes to new ideas.
At one time some nerds got together in a garage wanting to start a computer company(apple).
The only problem was that they had a bunch of great ideas and new programs but someone had to make it all happen(Wozniak), and we all know who got all the credit for that computer company(Jobs).
Hands on nerds are the guys who build the computers that run the programs written by the tech nerds and take it from drawing board to reality, when it doesn't work at first they figure out why and fix the problem never getting any credit.
Are both nerds welcome?
Everyone knows what a tech nerd is but most people have never seen the elusive hands on nerd as they are kept in back rooms, attics, garages & basements.
Here's an example of a hands on nerd, he didn't invent the v-8 engine but that didn't stop him from building the worlds smallest running v-8 engine, the Victory 44.

Lol, so I have to add an amendment to the group allowing "Fit" and "muscular" nerds and geeks to be permitted membership.... The "Peter Parker amendment" :afro:
