I think it was his mistake to make the shipping cost so high and thus he might loose many of international buyers. I packed his project but $ 90 for the book and $ 60 for shipping is kinda stupid. I also think it won't reach it's goal. I think it would be a pitty. And guys like you who hope everything is for free are strange too. Maybe he will make a limited coffee table book. Quite a few of those books and the pictures therin haven't been posted on the internet if the price is high enough or if there are just a couple of hunderts copies. That would be the best way that his work won't be shared everywhere for free.

I agree. Not sure why he gave that shipping such a huge fee.

Also I called it a few pages ago it might not hit the goal. Of course everyone else thought it was going to hit the goal before the first weekend was over LOL

It was on his ModelMayhem profile "About Me". I tried looking for it but he deleted that profile (and has another one now). He basically said he was back from a hiatus and this time he was not going to tolerate photographers being "unprofessional" on set or something like that. I think we all know what that means.

my concern is what will happen to the book when it didn't hit the goal by the end of the time. i don't care about this campaign if the book will be published in some other ways, like selling on his own website or Amazon, of course the limited edition i am talking about. i am not a huge fan of his but i don't wanna miss the opportunity to see some unpublished nude pics of his models because we don't know if they will take their pants off in front of camera again. i hope the book will be published anyway.

I don't know what it is with these photographers and ridiculous shipping costs for books. If you go to Greg Gorman's website he has a book on sale for $75, with a flat rate shipping cost of $75 on top on that. For $150 you could probably get one of the models to show up at your door as a strip-o-gram.

I'm guessing they think people will be stupid enough to not pay attention to the shipping price and just see or focus on the book being x dollars. Because it's really more like a $130 book with $20 shipping.

Thats his assistant. He sometimes there at Rick's place during the shoot. But he handles his emails and stuff.

was he Day's assistant at the first place, like he graduated from art school and got an assistant job at Day's studio, and Day forced him to be his model later because he was too hot to be just an assistant? or was he a model when he met Day, then Day offered him the job so Day could keep him around? is their relationship totally professional? or are there some steamy stories between them? am i fantasising too much?
