His memoir was equal parts hilarious and devastating and worth reading. Like Sarah Silverman, he was also a bed wetter into his teens, and it’s just heartbreaking to read how that destroys all self confidence within a child.

Lol, scrolled up just now and saw I already recommended this earlier, but that tells you it made an impact and was a great read- especially as an audiobook, which is like listening to a comic’s set.

His new memoir about losing his son comes out at the end of next month. The first one was simultaneously hilarious and heartbreaking, especially about being a bedwetter until young adulthood and a raging alcoholic. It sounds like despite the subject matter he finds away to do that in this one as well.
