"Rodding"???

does anyone have a link to a website or movies/pictures of "rodding"?

From what I understand it involves inserting objects into your urethra like a steel rod for example...

not exactly my cup of tea but a good firend of mine has to go and have a 1.5" diameter kidney stone removed and part of the procedure involves them sticking a very thick hose up his urethra and sucking out the debris after they beat on the stone with a hammer that they will install through a hole in his back.

and me being a total ballbreaker I want to send him some media of what he has to look foward to!
