room sharing

Well dude i sleep commando to and end up at friends pretty often in same rm. Just take it off and get in bed.. i never mention it bc its obvious if they see me take off my jeans or shorts and im commando already. If he's that freaked by ur being naked in ur own bed he's got some issues don't worry just be comfortable..

bump... how did it go?

All went well, slept in the nude and just wore boxers outta bed. Out of all 8 guys I was the only nude sleeper which I thought was weird. They though my habbit was a bit odd. Ah well.

I did a contiki trip a while back and about 1/4 of the way through one of the blokes just stated quite frankly that he preferred sleeping in the buff and would it offend anyone if he were to begin doing this. noone cared. he got to sleep how he wanted and it didn't surprise or offend anyone.

And no it was not "hot" or "totally awesome" like the stories on here or anything like in porn. he just wanted to sleep in the nude, that was it. The rest of the blokes I room shared with got pretty casual pretty early on also and ended up just sleeping in their underwear which was basically briefs and boxer briefs a couple of days in (started out much more conservative with sleep/boxer shorts and maybe a light shirt.) Again nothing sexual. just guys wanting to sleep comfortably.

I think the real world is a bit different to the internet/gay fictitious story world. :p

There is nothing like a sleepover to open thing up between old friends and new. There is something about sleeping in the same room, closing off the day, starting a new day...exposing bits of our selves.

Is it that you are sort of hoping that this goes somewhere? Maybe explore some mutual masturbation? I say just be yourself, but keep an aura of openness, in case he too is open to some fun times...

Check in with us if anything develops.

I don't like to wear clothes when it is more comfortable not to wear them, like at the beach, or sleeping, and so on... I don't care that much who sees me. But I don't want to offend anyone of make them uncomfortable. I had a female roommate. Non sexual situ. I was pretty sure she had seen me once or twice with the door ajar changing. I did not go around the house nude. We went to Black's beach one day, which is a large nude beach in San Diego. I took my suit off, and she was so uncomfortable that I put it back on. That is probably the only time I have been in that situation. If the context is one in which nudity is not inappropriate, I have never had a problem, even with strangers. It's finding that balance between your own comfort, and your friend's. Glad to hear it all went OK with you and your friends.

Agree totally with yr post
so obvious we do tend to chuck in anything of a sexual nature to enhance these minor happenings ha
enz

tbh have slept nude all my life and its the one thing i dont even feel a need for courteously' asking a fellow male if i can / cant
they can challenge bitch moan, spice things up for a little convo haha might be surprised where that talk leads to hah

So I've got to room share with a male friend for two weeks, single beds.

What is the going room sharing etiquette? I'm a nude sleeper so is it unreasonable to still do this? What about walking to the bathroom nude etc?...... I would imagine this is all reasonable to most people, right?

Let the dude know these things. Proceed anyway.

I'm surprised that you were the only one who slept naked. I thought most people would prefer it.

I usually sleep naked unless it's too cold. When I have visitors, they aren't aware of what I wear to bed. I usually sleep on the sleeper sofa in the living room and give my guests my bedroom. After I pull the sheet and blanket over me, I pull off my gym shorts and leave them on the floor. There is no reason why that should make anyone uncomfortable unless you remove the sheet and blanket (I don't). In the morning, I slip on my shorts and then get out of bed. I do the same thing when I'm a visitor in someone else's home. No one has ever noticed or complained about it including my mother and my sister.

Generally, I wouldn't walk around the room naked unless I knew that my friend wouldn't care.
