Their website is pretty sparse, it is not clear to me how they make money. But somehow they pulled together both Ryan and Max to enjoy simultaneously, so bravo to that.

Yes that is the simplest and most likely correct explanation. The unanswered question is how do they make money with a negligible online presence and austere website. Who paid for the boat charter and other activities? Surely not the young yokels we like to follow. How did MBG make profits?

Also lots of other costs- the promotional, food, beverage, entertainment, the cost of getting those people there (flights?) and putting them up in hotels. Max, Ryan and their friends wouldn’t spend their own cash for this, even if they had it to spare. And it really isn’t a lot of money for a company to spend, but no company would do it without a profitable reason. What is the profitable reason?
