I don't think Eddie's family would let that happen. I think if Eddie goes, Christopher ends up back in El Paso with his grandparents. That is why I am hoping that Eddie doesn't die -- the show won't want to write out Christopher, he's too popular.

It would be interesting to see buck as an adoptive father to Christopher since it would be a great dynamic.
Ok so tonight’s episode where Eddie told Buck that he changed his will to make Buck Christopher’s legal guardian if anything happens to Eddie kinda choked me up. Now they just have to get married to make it impossible for Christopher’s grandparents to challenge it!
I honestly thought that Eddie was going to say that with the close calls that he had that he was done with fire fighting. Or that he was going to transfer to the one fire house in Lonestar. But I guess I was wrong. I’m excited to see what happens in the future. Do I think that Buck and Eddie will become a couple? I don’t think so. And honestly I’m OK with that. The way they have the dynamic set up is that you have two friends that are close. One has a child and the other doesn’t. Buck is extremely supportive of Eddie and his son and that’s a nice they have going on there. What happens behind the scenes with Ryan and Oliver is a different story. Plus I don’t think I would want the actors to play lovers on screen especially if there is bad blood between them off screen.

I'm hoping that Oliver and Ryan have worked out any issues. I think it is possible that friendship will prevail. They have another season of working together to figure it out.

It honestly really depends. Because from the way it looks it looks as if Ryan was defending his wife’s use of a racial slur and that’s kind of not OK. I guess he said him and his wife used to use it around their friends. And I’m just like, you’re a Latino, you can’t use that word at all. And I feel like for Oliver he definitely thought that that was wrong to and I’m pretty sure everyone on set thought that that was a horrible situation for Ryan to put himself in too. He should’ve just kept it to himself. I honestly don’t know if I could forgive him for saying something stupid like that myself. But that’s coming from me as a biracial woman. But I feel like if the actress that plays Hen and Angela Bassett can forgive him, if they have, then I suppose maybe Oliver can too. But I would be very weary of him.

true. ryan and aisha seems to be the closest on set and on instagram lately. i trust her judgement bc she is an activist and if someone has to be pissed about what he did, it should be her. i guess the cast knows him better than us thats why they forgave him that easily and im pretty sure they know hes just a dumbass. as for him and oliver tho, i believe theyre still friends and they just dont want to be seen together bc of the buddie shippers
And that sucks that they can’t. Like I wouldn’t care. I’d hang out with my friend regardless of the shipping. Hell I’d join in on it, if I knew it was something that was gonna happen in the future. Or just show the fans my appreciation. So idk…I hate when actors can’t do things because of crazy fans.
