They can bring concerns up (if that’s what you meant my “have a say” in it), but it’s up to the EPs, writers and showrunners. AFAIK he’s not an executive producer like Angela is.
They have input but not how the storyline is ultimately gonna go. He literally had to fight to even be involved in the ICE storyline. Ryan is not powerful enough for that, only Angela Bassett.
He's not exactly an A-lister or someone the show can't do without to have that kind of pull. He will be able to speak up about what he's comfortable with but ultimately they'll decide the direction and it will either be do it or we'll write you out.
If the plan is to never do it and to keep things platonic, which isn’t a bad idea in itself and would be nice to see in shows, they shouldn't have teased a relationship as much as they have over the years, it's not just projection by fans, the show has played into it.

Yeah it's a mix of both. Fan delusions and legitimate queerbaiting. It's pretty ridiculous at this point. And I'm not even a "buddie" shipper but they need to stop the games. Stop being pussies and pick a lane(s) for Eddie/Buck already.
Exactly. Either pair them together or find them separate but ongoing love interests.

I understand that. But he been on the show long enough and has a big enough following that if he is not comfortable doing something. I’m sure they would let him slide. If he not comfortable with it.
I get that but I’m sure he has some clout after being on the show for so long.
Some clout sure but no enough to decide how big storylines like Buddie are gonna go. If he did he wouldn’t be fighting to be part of storylines or thinking if he still has a job because of the way they underutilize Eddie.

I thought it was clear by now they won't put them together but they won't cut the cord either and put them with other people since the Buddie fans will absolutely flip their lid and try to burn down the show.
I think the best course of action is to leave that dwindling group of toxic fans to their idiotic showrunner and the sycophantic cast who work for him.
I can already foresee how this will pan out.
The fandom will keep making the show more and more radioactive. The showrunner will keep digging his own grave until the show is mercifully put out if its misery. And the cast will cash their paycheques until it all comes tumbling down and then they can hop on the convention circuit for the next 10 years.
We've seen it all before.
