Ryan Guzman

Pardon the initial misunderstanding then, my bad. I still take issue with the idea of "what you do privately" (which would be just sex essentially) being needed to be hidden. All humans have sex and we do it privately of course but that doesn't mean we don't know people are doing it. Sex of the homosexual variety isn't any different than straight sex is it?

I guess define "announcing". I don't think sexuality needs announcing or a public statement but simply living an openly non-straight life is not something you hide unless for shame or fear of persecution imho. Unless again one views being openly queer as not equivalent to being openly straight?

Some good points. For some it can be a distraction. I know some insiders have made mention in the past about some sports stars and actors not coming out due to the media onslaught. They don't want that kind of attention. Nor do they want to be a distraction to a team or their castmates. So who knows?

You're right. That is certainly a factor. Something to consider for sure. I think I blame the media/outlets/journalists heavily for that. They make such a spectacle of anyone "coming out" that it becomes distracting sometimes even if the celebrity doesn't want all that attention on their sexuality, the onlookers just make that their entire identity and some folks don't want that over-shadowing their actual careers/talents

I don’t think anyone has an obligation to come out but there is definitely a clear difference between someone who doesn’t feel the need to come out or wants to keep their private life private and someone who is actively hiding it and Guzman is definitely the latter. He certainly has no problem addressing the straight aspects of his life.

And if it weren’t for his ex I would say he isn’t hurting anyone so lice and let love but it does suck for her. But still, not our business so he can hide it if he wants, but he is hiding.

If the extent of his gay life is anon sex with men that’s not the same as him having entire boyfriends and committed relationships. It seems moreso just sexual which I don’t think needs to be put out there or he may even be using those apps to sleep with trans women as many are on those

Can someone please fill me in. Based on the few - coherent - posts I've read, I'm guessing Ryan got caught with Grindr on his phone and now his sexuality is being questioned by the Real Housewives of LPSG. Is that what's going on?

Yep that pretty much sums it up
