I know people want to see some great public reckoning, such as him suddenly losing his entire following or his home, neither or which are likely going to happen here. But consider, his recent actions suggest he's in his personal hell right now. Why did he open his Instagram to the public and spend energy carefully crafting the comment section? Two reasons.

1. He craves the mindless positive comments that used to come to him anew each day, and he can no longer fight the addiction; or
2. he needs to money that comes from engaging the following to live.

Clearly he's already suffering from either or both of the scenerio, otherwise why would this famously thin-skinned white bitch open himself up, knowing that he need to spend so much money/time ignoring stuff he don't want to see?

The thing is, a millionaire used to the lavish lifestyle is gonna be in great agony if he suddenly has to live paycheck-to-paycheck like the rest of us, even if rationally these two groups of people have the same quality of life. What Sam is experiencing now is the fame-whore equivalent of a rich guy suddenly losing his fortune; yes, most of us live day-by-day without hundreds of Internet strangers praising us for the stupidest things we do. But for a thin-skinned pretty boy like Sam? Opening or closing himself up, he has no good options here. Thus, hell.

True, he is trying to recover in some way. However he is still living the life in that lavish LA apartment. They clearly are still paying his rent.
