Not hating. Just wanted to know if he comes from money or not. Now that I know he does come from money, I want to know why that user (the one who says he went to school with him) says Sam probably doesn’t think of himself as coming from money. If you grew up wealthy in an affluent area, you think you would realize it. Unless you’re oblivious to how most people live, of course.
Then maybe we are both oblivious to it. Or perceive it as all relative. Bc I would consider someone “who came from money” as being someone from The Hills. I guess we always look beyond our own situation.

Envious more than jealous I think, as I wouldn't ever want to live that soulless existence.
Soulless existence? That’s a pretty dark description of someone you don’t know. Perhaps the deep envy you have is causing you more pain than you understand.

I mean, I don’t know how much more obvious it could be if you grew up in one of the wealthiest towns of the Chicago metropolitan area. You don’t have to be from Beverly Hills to be considered rich. Every city has its rich areas, and in a city as big as Chicago, of course there are going to be plenty of people who would be considered rich anywhere in this country.

Your only posts bar one is in this thread... is that you Sam?

and yes, a social media existence is soulless, as it's living for the approval of strangers not for what makes you personally fulfilled and happy.

This entire thread (and a couple others on this site) plays like the emotions from inside out. All these people sitting around acting like they are a committee in this guys head, going hard on tracking and analyzing every unremarkable function in dudes life.

The weirdest part was tracking his current movements earlier in the thread, figuring out if he was back in the US, where he lives, what's his financial status, etc. ya'll, it's legit becoming an obsession.

Like he's attractive, but i get the sense a lot of people are trying to live as vicariously possible through him. I never got that. Same way how people act towards super popular youtubers and beautubers. There's like a limit to how much I need to know about some dudes life. Things like money status, what he's doing at home, criticism of the fact he has a comfortable life through no fault of his own.

It's stops being a fascination with a normal, regular dude who happens to be attractive, and starts being a means to deify someone who is probably sees himself as an average human.

Legit, this thread looks like that UN Security Council meme w/ Sam in the middle. I don't get it

I think thats a bit of a stretch. Social media is just a platform to make money as a job, not living for others approval.

If it were then just about every gay has had a souless existence period in their life
Lol

I wanted to know if he comes from money because he’s always traveling and staying at fancy hotels and resorts like the Four Seasons and what not. He’s been living this life since I first came across him on Instagram (so like 2015), and most people his age can’t afford to live a lifestyle like that where they can just quit their job and jet set everywhere. It appeared that he came from privilege, so I wanted to confirm if that was true. It seems that most “influencers” come from money. How else are they able to travel to exotic locales all the time so they can have pretty backdrops for their photos? It’s all a fantasy, but a fantasy that only some people can afford.

I don’t mean to sound like a dick and state the obvious...but you do get paid for being an influencer. On top of that, he does have an actual job.

Don’t influencers only get paid if they shill products? I remember him staying at fancy hotels and resorts a few years before he started his YouTube channel. So unless he was shilling for companies back then, I’m assuming he wasn’t using money he had made as an influencer.

He has always advertised. Just doesn’t overdo it, since it would water down the value of a post.

Per post of whatever? Or when he posts a product?
Honesty I am not sure. I barely look at IG, but I would think it’s for advertising-specific posts....which if you look at the last 50 or so, there is either a #’d company or a more overtly advertised product like 75% of the time.

Let’s stop trying to figure out how he makes money. His social standings. His families wealth. Etc. And get back to what this thread is meant for. Thirsting after an attractive dude - if you find him attractive. If you don’t. Then move on and find someone you do find attractive. And leave us who like Sam alone. These arguments and bickering back and forth about things literally no one knows the answers to is a real boner killer.
