Years ago, a black man said to me accusingly "You'd never date a black man." The irony is, I never saw him with another black man: he surrounded himself only with white men. But I have dated black men, and Asian men, and white men. But I'd NEVER date an Australian. I mean, even a slut has to have some standards! JUST KIDDING!!!! But really, an absence of diverse friends isn't evidence of racism. Most people surround themselves with others with similar upbringing, education, and senses of humor, people with shared experiences- people that bring them joy. That doesn't make them racist.
