I'm so confused. I always thought that Jacob was the physically more attractive one, looking adorable all the time, but Scott seemed like the heartthrob with the personality and the well-rounded persona.

You’re completely right! Scott is a very sweet guy, and I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know him.He seeks maturity and guidance; his attractions vary. Unfortunately he can get what he truly needs from someone his age or younger that is struggling through the same crossroads. He’s wise to choose someone who can help guide him, and promote him, using his contacts, to where he should be in life to reach his goals. He deserves the best, and much better than many of the comments I’ve read on here. Why not a wealthy older guy? Trust me, although I love Jacob and cheered on their relationship, I can’t fault him for wanted to step up his game... and believe me... rich older guys can afford to treat him much better than poor ones...

Assuming rich people can treat you better than poor people speak to my problem here and with Scott. It's all so materialistic. (Sure, they can literally give you more treats than a poor person can, lol. But if the fiance's way of showing affection is buying him shit, and not giving him love, attention, and good conversation, my hopes for them aren't high.) Scott posts story after story of name brand shit, and we're supposed to believe this is what makes him happy? Or are we supposed to be jealous that he has a guy that buys him shit?
If you were saying, "It's good for Scott to date an older guy that can teach him how to manage finance and how to navigate emotional maturity," then I'd be all for it. But Scott just dating an older dude that will buy him shit, marry him to feel like he owns Scott (cause he bought him), then dump Scott in 5 years or less (if he does *cough*hewill*cough*), will only leave Scott emotionally and possibly financially destitute.
No one here knows what's going on in their relationship, but Scott flaunting his man's wealth is certainly a bellwether of unhealthy things.
