I tend to agree. In buying SC, they bought a large catalog of videos, a brand, and mailing lists. The root problem, I think, is that MindGeek is trying to run SC like they do their other sites. SC, CF, Chaos, RB, Active Duty when Dink ran it, etc., were labors of love for their owners. They had a certain type of guys and scenes they liked and that is what they produced. MindGeek is run by straight guys who are going through the motions. Sometimes they hit upon gold, often they don't. But the pricing scheme is a huge turnoff. I subscribed for quite a few years, but probably won't ever again unless they start allowing downloads for a reasonable subscription price. Even then, one or two scenes a week are a rip off for what they charge for the basic membership.
