Sean cody

Gay porn (overall; not just SeanCody) went down the drain when they lowered the standard of hotness. Companies started buying into the PC belief that everyone is beautiful and special and can do anything, thus we got subpar content. The aspect of sexual masculinity is also gone. SO many of the guys are gender neutral and effeminate. I don’t mean to offend anyone but that’s just my assessment.

I think it's more a byproduct of the shift toward online porn publication. Tons of studios and variations of sites sprouted up. Consumers wanted immediate access and a constant supply of new scenes. The proliferation of sites, etc., meant producers needed to have more performers and that meant lowering standards. It's the same phenomenon as the explosion of cable channels had for television. There was a great deal more content, but of a weaker quality for the most part.

The exception though is CF. A person could pick a year at random and I could rattle off so many hot guys they had during that year. Beauty is subjective though. There are some models that many are fond of that do nothing for me, while on the other side of the coin, there are models I find attractive that many don't.

In regards to the masculinity thing, it's a no-win situation for the companies. Back when muscle studs sort-of ruled the roost, people were complaining that too many of them were gay-for-pay and they wanted more legit gay guys that might actually enjoy the sex in their scenes. Now that we are seeing more gay guys in the videos, many of them aren't built and stacked and now people are complaining about that. You can't please everyone.

For me, one of the most painful things is when a guy starts destroying his body with tats and piercings and things of that nature. It's usually not a deal breaker for me, but I prefer to see men in their natural beauty as opposed to these artificial tats, especially when they are excessive in number, large and ugly. It's distracting.

You have to consider a multitude of factors: 1) the Great Recession made many people need money immediately, and when times are tough many guys are willing to do gay porn to make ends meet. In my personal opinion, the economy has never recovered to be great, but the need for quick cash isn’t as in demand compared to then. 2) the Internet has become more easily accessible, and anyone can Google you. This has discourage many guys from entering the industry in fear of their future employer finding out. That fear is valid especially since in the US, employers can fire you because of “morality clause.” SC’s Randy has personal said he can’t even get a minimum wage job due to them finding out his porn career. 3) if you do want to do porn, the democratizing of the Internet has limited the talent pool for studios. Anyone can create an OnlyFans account, and although it’s hard to make a huge profit, it can be done. Why would you work for a studio where you get no royalties, when you can just do it yourself?
And the the PC argument allowing “ugly” is a matter of personal taste. Some of my favorite stars are not the most stunning, they’re pretty average, but their sexual abilities win you over.

All excellent points. Further to your second point, a lot of people are now more aware of how doing porn will come back to haunt them later after hearing stories like Randy's. In the past, there seemed to be the attitude that the Internet was anonymous, but now we know that is not the case. Instead of it being, what are the odds of me being identified, it's now the odds are pretty good that I will be identified. Not that I ever had the opportunity to do porn (and if I ever had, I would have said no), but my career would have been over if I ever had done it. I do acting on the side, and a couple of years ago my agent wanted me to audition for a legit role where I would have had to wear assless chaps. I turned it down immediately. In my career job, I make 6 figures a year with amazing benefits and an incredible pension plan that is going to set me up nicely in my golden years. With social media, reverse search engines, Internet stalkers (like we've seen in this thread), facial recognition technology, etc, it's not hard to identify strangers online anymore. Case in point, a couple of years ago, I met a really cool guy in the open shower and steam room of my Y. We got to chatting, and I learned his first name after we introduced ourselves and where he works. That night, I searched for him on LinkedIn and found him in less than a minute just by using his first name and company name that he worked for. I sent him a connection request and we have been connected ever since. I'm not the most tech savvy guy in the world, so I can only imagine how easy it would be for someone with serious computer skills to find someone using just basic personal information.

...Internet stalkers (like we've seen in this thread)

and this entire site actually. you'll have people get infatuated with a random guy from instagram and then create a thread to seek out ANY content to fantasize or sexualize. even VPL or butt bulges. so i can absolutely see how ANY x-rated content will get dug up and there is no way anyone doing porn can ever not have that follow them for the rest of their lives. and people know that now and definately use that when deciding to do porn or not.

He is my fave of all time too! So what’s the back story to the Private Fuck video in your very organized collection.

Not Patrick. The speedo tan line, the upward curve in the cock, and what looks like darker hair. Hot vid tho.
