Very well stated. I too believe Mikayla89’s post and very much appreciate she is one of the very few who is providing proof of what she says—and I think she believes her statements. As someone though with a lot of history behind them I take situations on a case by case basis. In her recollections there are a few points that catch my attention. First, she states he was only with two women during his time at SC, one being his ex wife. Which ex-the first one, mother of his child, or the second one who he married just a few short months after leaving SC? I’m going to assume the 2nd. There is also online evidence he cohabitated with another woman for sometime between 2015-2017, same period he went out with Mikayla. Whatever this statement means, he was having intimate relations with at least a couple of women who were totally unaware he was having unprotected sex with multiple men as a job. Not what I would call honest or upfront. She states he told her he’d been with like 6 guys at SC at Thanksgiving 2016, but by that time SC had posted 10 videos of him ( first one solo) plus the high probability at least one released early December and one in early January had already been filmed but not edited yet. From what I understand they take a month or two to edit before posting videos. There’s one in early February too but I won’t reach that far out. That means by 11/2016 he had been with 9, probably 10, maybe 11 guys. His understating the numbers signals something-wanting to underplay his activity for some reason. Mikayla89 also says he stepped back because his male family members wanted him to, somewhat indicating he would have kept on otherwise. And lastly, saying he did it for quick money is not entirely accurate. Being a sex worker (absolutely no judgment, a vocation as old as history) for over two years is not quick. It was EASY (meaning little time spent), BIG money and he very much gives the impression, since he had intended to continue, it was an activity he was very comfortable with. I guess after all this, I’m saying I don’t hold 100% with the concept people’s sexuality is what they say it is. I understand if they truly believe they are straight/bi/gay that is their world. But if their behavior indicates something else, then maybe what they believe is a construct that helps them to feel comfortable in their world. So yes, Matt appears as a heterosexual male in the current public sphere and I am fairly confident it is a position he firmly believes to this day. Is he 100% straight? I don’t know but I do believe almost everyone has a division of straight/gay inclinations and it truly matters what the world they live in as to how they indulge toward one side or the other and how much they can clearly see or admit to in themselves.
