He’s a black man (yes he has one white parent) but he’s still Black.
being a maga supporter doesn’t mean he’s not black. there are tons of black maga supporters.
Im aware. The point was that as a mixed man he embodies the white side exclusively so using a term like that sits different despite his DNA when mentally he’s a white man. And the MAgA comment was in addition to that. Reading is fundamental
You're saying AJ's the type of guy that will only claim being black when its convenient for him but will almost exclusively engage with his white side?
Because if so I completely understand the point you're making, and I can understand why you'd be concerned with him specifically using the Nword.

As a black man I understand where you and the other person are coming from, and in the end you're right, he can still say it. I think the main issue is how he's using the word when he's making posts on his socials, and the types of people he's around if he really is Maga.
No need to waste your time trying to build understanding for someone who probably isn’t even a person of color and would never understand that terms like that can be offensive even from the people who are genetically apart of the community but don’t not socially. Especially when used derogatorily or for race play stuff like he was. Sounds like their griping about the fact that they probably can’t say it as openly as I’m sure they do in their own space.

I mean, let people live how they want, especially if you're mixed. You have a right to claim being mixed, more White, all White...anything other than being just Black. I get it. We shouldn't get so caught up in this. Buuuuttttt...let's see how fast you can make an all white officer or citizen understand your non-all-blackness when they roll up and see another light-skinned Black person. Let's see how Karen understands you're not just an all Black person when she wants you unalived just because she woke up feeling frisky. So go ahead and claim your Whiteness, but don't be disappointed when the Whiteness doesn't claim or protect you. LOL
