Seth everman?

I don't really think that's what they meant by that. As gay people, we project certain qualities in order to make us identifiable to other gay people, knowingly or unknowingly. It's just the way we are. Gaydar is a real thing.

You should probably just speak for yourself instead of trying to speak for the entirety of the gay community. because the gay community, like any community is not a monolith

So you're angry at me for supposedly speaking for everyone when you're trying to put words in my mouth? Lol really dude?

I wasn't speaking for anyone else, it is not that serious, calm down, damn

You literally said "As gay people, we project...". You were kind of speaking for everyone else.

Uhh no I wasn't? I would have said something like "As gay people, we ALL project..." if that were the case. Why are y'all being so dumb about the concept of gaydar? lmao foh

Is it too hard to grasp? Does it offend you that we have ways of finding each other in public? Stop me if it's too overwhelming :joy::joy::joy:

lol, regardless of whether "all" was or wasn't in that sentence, you'd still be generalizing.

personally i don't really care about whether you have a gaydar or whatever. just don't speak for a general population. not everyone cares to assume other people's sexual orientation, especially with a "sixth" sense that relies on stereotyping.

I don't even know you. It's bold of you to inject yourself into what I said and assume that everything has to involve you or is about you (or in this case not, whatever). You can be offended that I "spoke for a general population." That's fine. I said what I said and will continue to do so. Thanks for the input. I'm sure you thought you were doing some good for the world by clutching pearls over some stranger's post on the internet. Go you, I guess. :emoji_thumbsup:

i'm not injecting myself, though. if we're going to talk about doing some good for the world then i guess you're such a saint for reinforcing harmful LGBT+ stereotypes lol. go you!

I suppose the irony is lost on you that you're posting in a thread where people are speculating on the sexuality of an internet personality, where people are saying that he is not someone who they thought acted or looked gay. I guess it doesn't occur to you that they're saying he doesn't exhibit qualities that make him identifiable as a gay person. Stereotypes exist for a reason, sweetheart. What you deem "harmful" is purely subjective and not based on any kind of evidence other than your own personal feelings.
