^ He was in contention but apparently was one of the later cuts. According to Probst, they started with a list of around 200 players to contact to gauge interest in who was willing to play again and then eventually worked their way down to the final choices. Some popular players were ultimately cut. CBS is apparently getting the final say over Probst though. For example, Probst has been over Ozzy for a while now and CBS insisted he play once again. Lots of indecisiveness and a number of cut players were pissed off for being led on for so long to be dumped.
