what country did this happen in?
that has not happened to me before but if it did, i would only mind if it was an ugly person. If i think he is hot i would scoot over a bit and let him be. I have done this with a few buddy's of mine and i have seen it done before but from the look of it, they were there together as well. Never seen it happen with a complete stranger.
Am i the only that finds it weird to go pee with a family member? I would prefer a stranger over a family member if someone was to barge in on me like that... but that is just me

No, it's not just you. Outdoors is no big deal, but I'd find it a bit awkward to share a urinal with my dad or uncle unless it was a trough.

Americans like space especially where our toilets are concerned. I would only do this in extreme or comical situations with a friend and never with a stranger. If a stranger came up to me, I would push him back before anything could happen.
Another time I might allow it might be at a bar where there isn't a single urinal but a large basin like in Fiesta in West Hollywood. But even then, guys are usually in and out of there rather quickly and don't harass each other.

This happened all the time at my school and with my brothers. I am not bothered by someone peeing in the same urinal or pot.... once in I while I see someone with a boner. I like a good show.
Unless it's a stadium-style trough, this was completely unacceptable/creepy behavior on the other guys part (although I might have enjoyed it if he was REALLY hot).
I have shared a toilet with gay friends a few times, e.g. at crowded parties. It's kind of hot to whip out are dicks together and check each other out while pissing together.

except for trough urinals I've never shared a urinal with anyone. It doesn't even seem like it would be comfortable to do with 2 or more guys pressed up close together and another guy at the urinal to each side.
At a bar with drunk folks, maybe. But at a mall? I'd be pissed. (I don't even like ℅-workers talking to me when I'm pissing.)
