well, for me it is a cleanliness issue. I have great hygene, of course. However, I feel a lot cleaner without a bunch of hair down there collecting sweat, clothing particles,etc. I trim my pubes, but I shave from the base ( I also dont want sideburns on my dick) on down. Shave the shaft, balls, and sometimes ass.

kenny: oh yea its been a week or so, im growing back nicely and its all around .5 inch or so, how would i maintain this length? maybe a tiny bit longer? theres gotta be a special razor or something, shaving is fun but i couldnt do it all the time and scissors are uneven.

Get an adjustable beard and moustache trimmer. The kind that has the adjustable length guide built in, works great for me. It&#39;s rechargeable too.
