Ok. Thing is, Max was engaged to and living with the late Kyle Ross for years. And now he's living with Silas Brooks. So if he's bi, he's certainly not showing it in his personal life, just in who he is fucking for his OF channel.

Now compare Max to a guy like Roman Todd, who has no issues fucking guys and yet is living with (and possibly married to, I think) a woman.

So yeah, maybe Max is bi, but it's clear he prefers guys when it comes to his personal tastes. And remember he went after Silas' twin brother Drake, who fucked him. Clearly he wanted to be with both brothers in some way. Again, he could be bi, but I think if he is, he is more on the gay side.

Bisexuality is a spectrum from mostly straight to mostly gay; personally I must admit that I was kinda shocked when I read that Max is bisexual but I think it has to do with stereotypical thinking- because he is more feminine its hard to imagine that he might be into women as well. I think we assume based on stereotypes- several bisexual guys are accused of being straight only because they are masculine and look like those high school jocks.
Now Roman Todd admitted that while he is turned on by all genders pretty equally he strongly prefer to date a cis or trans woman. And it seems like for most bi guys their attraction for guys is purely sexual which cast doubt on others bisexuality.
