thank you for your answer. A hood down has obviously the same sensitivity as the shaft skin, cause it's the same tissue. The poll has nothing to do with opinions pro/anti circumcision; we try only to spot the differences as regard to sensitivity on shaft skin and knob skin (bare, of course), between the two groups c/uc. This is not a thread addressed to let open issues about circ utility. This note, just to avoid pages and pages of fights between opposite factionsSince there's not a note for this part, didn't really feel shit with my hood down.
Similar sensitivity to the cold of the ceramic for both the shaft and knob but more sensitive to touch on the knob.
mines the same as these guys. the knob skins a bit more sensitive to the touch than the hood but there really wasn't a difference with the temperature. if anything I felt the cold less on my knob; might be a warmer temperature than the shaft since its covered by skin.Since there's not a note for this part, didn't really feel shit with my hood down.
thank you, very good and useful answer; may be the poll could have had even more distinction between temperature sensitivity and touch sensitivity, but, being cut myself and unaware of possible fine sensitivity differences, I simplified with a balance for each group.Similar sensitivity to the cold of the ceramic for both the shaft and knob but more sensitive to touch on the knob.
thank you for your answer; we are going to "investigate" the difference between cut and uncut group in sensitivity terms on the knob skin (I think the one with the most important differences); interesting are the first answers of uncut group participants with an even more sensitive skin on the glans if compared to shaft skin. I hope we will add useful answers from the cut group, too. Thank you to everyone keeping a neutral mood while answering. This is not a "scientific" medical test, but a simple home test to get to know better our bodies and our trigger points.. redirecting and improving our or our partners' stimulation methods.mines the same as these guys. the knob skins a bit more sensitive to the touch than the hood but there really wasn't a difference with the temperature. if anything I felt the cold less on my knob; might be a warmer temperature than the shaft since its covered by skin.
it is normal; I'm also finding the same situation as you, but an interesting fact is that some guys , who are cut, here answer they have more sensitivity on the knob than on the shaft skin; I'd ask them to describe the type of circumcision they underwent and how much time ago and if sensitivity is increased to temperature and touch or only to one of them. After bering cut 40 years ago mine knob lost all sensitive. No feeling on it.
Thank you Kurt, this is exactly my same condition; also the low and tight cut are the same. So it's interesting from us cut guys knowing the type of circumcision related to performances in terms of sensitivity. Of course this doesn't mean we have a "damage" but for sure we can readdress our stimulation methods, by sharing our common experiences, in order to have a great and satisfying sex life; I'm glad with this poll cause it's growing serious, non-quarrelsome, and useful to get to know better our sensitivity and pleasure possibilities (cut and uncut groups). To Kurt: may be you put your vote on the wrong side? Your vote says: "I'm more sensitive on the knob", but according to your explanation, you should be more sensitive on the shaft. To any other participant: please let's go on this way. Thank youI was cut at 19 years old I had a substantial amount of foreskin and overhamg. I got circumcised because I was the only one of my friends that was not cut.
being uncut my head was more sensitive than it is now. when I had sex there was more feeling when inside my partner than now the doctor removed my foreskin close to the head and did not leave much of the inner foreskin my shaft skin is what renained of the out shaft skin.currently my head has lost some of the sensitvity it once had I think because it has dried out and it is constantly rubbing on my boxers. shaft and head have the same sensitivety.
thank you very much for your detailed description; this is a common experience for us cut guysI was circumcised at birth, high and tight with about an inch of inner foreskin before my scarline. My glans has never really been an incredibly sensitive spot for me due to its constant exposure and its become less sensitive over time. Both my inner skin remnant and regular shaft skin are more sensitive to both cold/heat and pleasure than the glans. The scar is also very pleasurable to rub physically and psychologically
interesting note, thank youcut when i was 17. Shaft skin felt the cold much faster but the cold feeling lasted much longer in the glans, was stimulating tbh.
I'm uncut and can't pull the foreskin (very little) but my head is really sensitive with the foreskin around it
