I have my own system that takes length and girth in combination. Multiply your length by your girth and your result is in square inches. Surface area. It's approximate, but close. Big head? Add 1 square inch for every 1/4 inch your head is bigger than at midshaft.

Little 10 to 20 square inches.
Small 20 to 30. This is my category.
Average 30 to 35.
Big 35 to 40.

I would agree with the ranges overall.
My erect cock has always been a cross category victim. My length puts me on the verge of large at 6.5" (I can measure 6.75" bone pressed), but my girth is just under the 4.5" mark, so I always feel like I still have a smallish cock due to being thin.
In volume comparisons, many shorter cocks are larger than me because a even a little more girth equates to more significant increases in volume compared to increases in just length.
