I'm curious to know why some people prefer softcore. Do the stories make the scenes sexier and erotic? Is it the quality of the men? I do think most of the guys are several notches better-looking than the average hardcore guy because they probably also work as mainstream models/actors but that seems to be the reason why they also wouldn't do hardcore as they're most likely trying to make it in Hollywood as well (some of them who've have made it all the way to A list are David Duchovny and Sly Stallone).
If the hardcore scenes were made with the same quality of production as the Playboy ones with the same quality of men, would you then prefer them? Because as someone who does appreciate softcore, it's just frustrating as hell to think that it's fake (well, most of the penetration is at least) as all the ACTING and fake moaning mentallly gets in the way of my fantasy because something in my head makes me hyper-aware that they're trying to fool me like I'm an idiot or innocent who has never seen or done sex before. Lol. So I always try to find hardcore scenes that are more erotic and esthetically pleasing. They're out there but a tiny minority so it makes them even more precious. Companies that make "female-friendly porn" like Joy Bear, Daring Sex, Sex-art and Bellesa Films are the ones that tend to make them. Playgirl also used to do them but they unfortunately failed as women just don't wanna spend money on porn especially catered to them (and I suspect it's still mostly gay men instead of women who subscribe to Joy Bear). But I still wish they had guys like Duke Chamapagn . Frankie Cullen and Justin Lopez. Lol
