Sounding is not for everyone. I personally like the way it feels. That cold metal rod sliding in, feels really good. If done correctly the rod will slid in on it's own. I let it make it's own path. My favorite it a J sound, similar to a Van Buren Sound.

Before getting the piercing I played some with sounding myself. I never went all the way into the bladder (not so interested in the increased risk of infection). Well...It took some time and stretching before I could slid this bad boy in in my dick. As for it's size, most sounds are measured in French or FF, and this one is 34 as I stated . In standard sizing, it is 3/8 thick, and from the tip along the curve to the deepest I can take is 12". The end is flat and to wide for my slit to take it.

The difference between the J sound and a Van Buren lies in the curve length. The typical Buren from tip, along the curve to when it straightens out is 3". The J sound from tip along the curve to when it straightens out is 4 3/4 ". I have not been able to find any place that still carries the J sounds

To use it correctly for deepest insertion. I insert the tip with the curve facing upwards. Slowly allowing it to make it's way in, you can feel it when it hit the opening in the prostrate , I then slowly lower the sound downwards. There will be a slight "pop" as it enters , then it passes into the bladder.....
For me it just feels really good. I use ID Lube Glide original formula

Like some of us have stated this is not for everyone. If you get brave start out small and see how you like it yourself.
