I just wish people wouldn't demonize Speedo swim trunks the way they do in the U.S. And to think that men wear very small shorts and even Speedo swim trunks (for example, Kevin Bacon in Friday the 13th). And this trend has spread to many countries, with the exception of China, Brazil, Italy, and Russia.

In the USA it's all down to double standards. The ladies can parade in skimpy bottons and tops, many showing off very well-defined "camel hoof", yet get a guy showing a balls bulge and its an obscenity. Hence the larger area needs to be covered to hide the fact that these days to have balls is against the law
