I had my first experience with sperm banking today -- I was warned that it would be very sterile and clinical and not all that fun to do given the circumstances... and maybe this makes me sick in the head but I thought it was friggin' HOT!!

The room you beat off in is not at all comfortable but I couldn't stop thinking about how many other guys had gotten off in there... especially got turned on when I started up the DVD player and saw where the last guy had stopped the disc! The only other dude I saw while I was there came back into the waiting room after he had gotten off and he was still a little hard, got to see a nice bulge in his jeans for a few seconds before he sat down again. He wasn't very attractive but I'll take what I can get. I'm probably extra horny because they told me to save up for 2-3 days (can't remember the last time I did that!) so I think I'm backed up.

Anyway, no real point to this, just sharing. I'm banking because my cancer came back so I'm starting chemo on Monday so they told me to do it before I start... I know I should be mopey and anxious about starting chemo but I can't get my dick to go down!! Total hornball through it all :-D

I find it odd that the "donation room" would be so sterile. You would think that it would be a little more inviting.

My sister works at a sleep clinic, and, commented that many patients complain that they sleep so badly. I saw the room, and, thought...."Why could this not look more like a hotel room?"

The same applies to the sperm bank.

Fight it with everything you got man. You're plenty young and that's a great advantage to the chemo treatments and recovery. We're all pulling for you here.

You guys are so nice! Thanks for the good thoughts... I hope to sail right on through it.

@Florida Boy -- I don't mind at all, I have testicular cancer, I was actually diagnosed back in February (had surgery to remove my right nut) and they thought it was gone but now it's come back in the lymph nodes in my lower back. It's possible that the chemo will make me infertile so they told me to bank before I started. It's weird though, being a gay dude I always thought if I had kids I would adopt, but I figure there's no harm in having some saved up in case I change my mind in the future.

@HorseHung40's -- YES! That's what I thought was so funny about it too. If the whole point of your business is to have people shoot their loads, then make it easy for them to shoot their loads! There was literally a metal folding chair in the room... really? Who wants to jack off on a cold metal folding chair? P.S. I LOVE your pics!! :biggrin1:

Good luck with your treatment man, I've had both my Mum, Grandma and soon my Granddad go through it, so I know its not easy, but as others have said, keep a positive attitude and it really will help you get through it! Don't isolate yourself either, keep friends and family closeby!! Sounds like a pretty fun visit to the sperm bank too! :)

As someone who has in the past been a cleaner in a sperm bank, the reason the place is so sterile and empty is coz some men who use it spray their cum, urine and on several ocassions poo all over the place. So for us poor people who have to clean those rooms, the less in them the better. And to the OP, i hope your treatment goes well and you have a great christmas. If you feel up to it, let us know how it goes. Best wishes! xx

Seriously?! Why would guys poo in the room knowing it will be obvious to the staff they did it. You have got to wonder what goes on in some folks minds. I donated for a few years and found the rooms to be really clean and comfy. A funny story though.... After a few months I was told my numbers had become poor and the samples were becoming unsuitable, so I hatched a plan to cum twice in each session (into the same sample pot). This damn near killed me and on one occasion I fell asleep on my desk when I returned to work after a lunchtime visit! Glad I did it though and helped out six families.

You wouldn't BELIEVE some of the things i found in those rooms. As for why they do it, i can only assume that some people were dragged up instead of raised. Trust me, if i could have spoken to their mothers, i would have.

I'm baaaaaaaaaccckk!

I got the results from my sperm banking -- good sperm count, good motility, there were able to get 4 vials from my sample (whatever that means) so I'm in good shape! Not bad for only having one ball, eh? :biggrin1:

I wasn't able to jack at all the week I was getting chemo, mainly because my dad was staying with me in my apartment and had no alone time, plus I would feel pretty crappy by the time I got home... by Friday afternoon though I was aching for some release, I sent my dad out on an errand so I could finally stroke one out -- was a weird experience, it actually took a lot of effort to get off (I'm guessing because I had so many drugs in my system including anti-anxiety meds) but I finally got there and the load scared the shit out of me! Blasted right up into my face which doesn't happen all that often to me but felt awesome. Even in the days after chemo when I was really sick I was still jacking daily and am now back to my usual 3-4 times a day. Still amazed that this hasn't killed my libido - am I the horniest guy ever or what?

Thanks for all the nice messages - I love logging on here and busting a nut with you boys!

i've thought about trying donating...just for the money really, but last i checked they didn't really pay that much.

many companies are also incredibly selective. a couple of us looked into it during college and NONE of us qualified.

-Under 6ft? disqualified
-Any chronic medical condition? disqualified
-Any family history of Alzheimer's, heart disease, or certain cancers? disqualified.

Four healthy college males. None of us were able to "donate" lol
