Spermicidal Foam

I've recently been looking into spermicidal foam and I've got a few questions... Now I've heard that spermicidal condoms are not a good idea because the nonoxynol 9 they contain irritates the vagina. So is the foam any better? because it also contains nonoxynol 9 but I haven't heard anyone talk negatively about the foam... So any ladies that have had experience with this please give some input... Thank you

I haven't used a spermicidal foam since I was younger than you are now. {ahhh the good old days} The only thing I remember is that it made oral sex impossible cause it tasted funny and numbed my lips.

Yes, dear. When he took the condom off some of the foam residue got on his penis. So that when I went down on him I could taste it, :yuck: and my lips went numb.

But does the spermicidal foam also irritate the lining of the vagina making transmission of std's more likely? (just asking, we're bot clean)
