What is your idea of perfect happiness?
my idea of perfect happiness is being surrounded by the people i love... without someone starting an argument, making a fuss, or causing a scene :biggrin1:
What is your greatest fear?
my greatest fear is letting myself down by not living up to my full potential. i'm 24 yrs. old and i haven't accomplished all the goals i had set for myself when i was younger. i'm still working on a lot of those goals and i hope one day i can acheive all of them.
What is your greatest extravagance?
food. i'm very particular with restaurants, where i eat, and what i eat, and i have a fave place for certain types of foods and dishes. for example, i'll suffer through downtown LA traffic jams just to go to the little tokyo district for ramen noodles at daiyko kuya... or i'll go all the way into hollywood to eat hot dogs at pink's... or over to the west side for burgers and fries at barney's beanery... and even to orange county just for pho (vietnamese noodles)... and so forth and so on.
What words or phrases do you most overuse?
i overuse the words "like" and "OMG" and sometimes also "OH EM GEE!"
What is your current state of mind?
i'm exhausted. i've been at school all day and my brain is on overdrive with final exams approaching.
What is your all time favorite movie?
my fave movie is splash (1984) with tom hanks and daryl hannah, directed by ron howard. if i ever have a daughter one day i'm even going to name her madison.
What is your most treasured possession?
my most treasured possession is my baby blanket. a relative had brought two blankets as gifts for my parents to give to me and my sister. i still have mine til this very day.
What quality do you like best in yourself?
the quality i like best in myself is that i don't give a crap about how other people see me and i don't have to always fit in. i'm not constantly worried about unimportant things that many people are concerned with, like having the latest trendy purse or smoking because it makes you look interesting and people will come talk to you. i do what works for me and i live my life for me, not for other people.
What is your favorite childhood memory?
i loved saturdays the most because i would always go bike riding with my dad. he would take me, my bro, and my sis and we would ride our bikes to the park in the afternoon. we'd play for what seemed like hours and hours. then we'd ride our bikes back home and eat pizza. it was awesome. i miss doing that with him.
What is your favorite meal?
any type of meat (my fave is sausage though) with a bowl of rice drowned in water. it's a southeast asian thing, and i know it sounds gross but it's so freakin delicious.
Who in the world do you most admire?
i really admire my parents. my mom is my hero... so cliche, i know. she is the strongest person i've ever known and one day i wish i could amount to just half the person she is. and my dad, he's not perfect, but he's a great dad and there's nothing he wouldn't do for me. he struggled his whole life to give me, my brother, and my sister, the life he didn't have. for that i am grateful.
If you were stranded on a dessert island what is the one thing you could not live without?
i couldn't live without chapstick! it's the one thing i always have to have with me no matter what.
