Lionsgate acquired STARZ but they will be running STARZ as a separate entity. So right now they are in legal limbo trying to divide assets and decide what intellectual properties will belong to Lionsgate and what will belong to STARZ

Season 2 has been filmed and completed for quite a while now but until all the legalities of ownership are sorted, Heels season 2 sits in storage.
