This is a fair point, and some real food for thought. Not only do we want to preserve the site, there are some lesser issues with download/ share limits, that mean people who may not even be members here can use up the limit leaving other contributors here having to wait longer, if they get to access anything at all. On the other hand, is there a limit to the # of people Mario shares with privately? If he gives the link to all who come asking, doesn't that just become a more cumbersome method of doing the same thing as sharing a Google drive link.

This is more thinking than I come to this site for lol.

All things considered, and even though it's contradictory to what I just posted previously, I think I favour the "DM me if you want the link" approach. So, upload the files to Google drive or wherever, then share with people who ask. Probably healthier for the download limits etc. But do whatever you want Mario.
