What's your favourite season. Among my earliest memories are rushing home from school in winter so I could get near the fire, I've never taken to the cold kindly and I still spend most of my winters practically hibernating. Right now it's not even cold and I'm fully dressed, the heating's on, I've even put a big fluffy dressing gown on over my clothes and I'm still not warm. Summer is my season, the long warm nights, the pleasure of feeling damp and horny, knowing that you can go out without your umbrella, duffel coat, balaclava helmet, moon boots and snow shoes. I'm nothing but a wimp when it comes to the cold - but strangely if you look in my wardrobe you'd be hard pressed to find a big warm sweater, all my clothes are summer clothes, little skirts, thin summer tops, as a friend remarked 'it's no wonder you're always cold, you're practically naked,' but I don't like winter clothes any more than I like winter. I like Christmas though I'm a glutton for gifts :) The minute I have to start having the heating on every day, when the nights begin earlier, when Christmas cards appear in the shops my life's practically on hold again til it gets warmer.

So - what's your favourite season.

spring and fall are my favorites. ;)

i hate winter because of the roads and xmas traffic.
i hate summer because of the macho behavior and woohoo girls.

Spring; it's Florida's "dry" season.

If I had to choose between winter and summer, then it would be winter.

Definitely summer!

And since moving to San Antonio, I still like summer the best, although the two summers I've been here have been very different from each other. Last year was very hot and dry - many days over 100 F, and with a severe drought. This year was more like an Indiana summer, not as hot, but more humid/wet and LOTS of rain.

Usually here I'm comfortable about every month except January. In Indiana the only months I'm comfortable are June, July, August and maybe May and September. The rest of the year is too cold for me there.

Of the 4 seasons, Summer is my least favorite. Here in the Ohio Valley, summers tend to be hot and humid, which makes me miserable. Next in order of preference would be Fall, Spring and then Winter. In the past few years, however, it seems that the "transitional" seasons of Fall and Spring are disappearing...it feels like we move right from Summer to Winter and then back to Summer. And we haven't had a decent snow fall in about 9 years....don't know if this is all an effect of the dreaded global warming or not, but the seasons definitely aren't as distinct as they were in my childhood.

It's the same in England, a dreary summer where you get to prance around practically naked on two days, then a dreary winter where it rains most of the time but never really gets bone chillingly cold, they're just blurring into each other.

Summer 'cause I love to be naked! Autumn for its beauty.

Back in the UK Summer was my favourite season. Here in Tenerife it is Winter. I do a physical job and it's far easier with the Winter temperatures being mid 70's than it is with high 90's in the Summer.

1. Fall (color, cozy, anticipation of winter)
2. Winter (snow)(or traveling to snow)
3. Spring
4. Summer

Bummer is, I live in almost perpetual summer (So. California)....

The absolute dead of winter. Nothing like cold, howling winds, snow and then a nice relaxing sleep in your warm bed...

Summer , 12 months of the year please .
I feel like hibernating when Winter starts , until Summer comes back again .
Even Brisbane Winter is too cold for me  . I think Darwin would be a great place to live  .

Summer...

Summer is Bermuda beaches and David Hockney pools, we close our eyes and lift our arms to be caressed by sensual breezes, and hazy peach skies fill with the sounds of cicadas and songbirds. Sleeping at night with the windows wide open and catching a thunderstorm rumbling away in the distance. Picnics and barbecues, sundresses and shorts, parties, vacations, and just walking out of your house with what you have on. There is fresh produce, berries, corn, peaches, homemade pickles and sun jams made under storm windows. Life is abundant and the world is cool green and brown punctuated with black eyed susans, flaming roses, or cool violets. In summer the long days fade quietly into evenings filled with drive-in movies and tiki torch lit lawn parties, taking dates to the custard stand, or just watching the stars on a blanket.

I do love summer like no other season.

My kind of guy!

There's nothing I love more than winter. I love the cold and what most might consider dreary weather. It tends to put me in a good mood for some reason. Tonight, for example, it's quite windy and fairly cold, and I'm just loving it. I hope for lots of snow every year. I was lucky in that regard last winter, but they say it won't snow nearly as much this winter. :( To me, summer is the bad-weather season. There's nothing worse to me than being terribly uncomfortable and sweaty, with a hot, blinding sun beating down on everything.
