The power cosmic, mastery of the mystic arts and maxed out charisma

Do you remember the electric ferret website?

I would like to have stretchy limbs like Mrs. Incredible. How awesome it would be to be able to easily pull up the zipper on my dress or clasp and unclasp my bracelets. Oh, and strapping heels without having to play flamingo or bending and toppling over.

And of course, there's always the bottle that's left on the counter or in the shower when I'm already in the tub. Or the olive oil on the high shelf.

Definitely Elastigirl.

Great question, and I always overthink these like trying to work around the catch to a genie's wish...

There are a lot of really cool ones, but I suppose the little boy in me just wants Superman's core powers:

Super strength
Invulnerability
Flight

I'd say telekinesis as it essentially is the foundation for any and all conceivable tangible powers.
Next I'd go for intangibility/phasing through solid objects.
A youth retained healing factor/immortality.
I figure those three will get me to the heat death of the universe, I'll figure out the rest from there.

Are you one of those people who believes Superman really just has some form of telekinesis?

Not necessarily, just in a hypothetical real world setting, to be able to move things with the mind and not physical work implies a whole host of "powers" to be attained. All of the kinetic powers(aero, hydro, pyro, ferro, etc), flight, cellular/molecular/atomic manipulates, super strength/speed/durability..theoretically teleportation but definitely wormhole/gravity manipulation.
This is all to say I can't speak for or against DCs methodology that enables flight, (levitation really, flight is actually fairly simple to achieve for just about anything)..but if there were a real world analogue to Superman, most of his traditional powerset(strength/flight/speed) could be attributed to some form of specialized and only self affecting telekinesis.

1) telekinesis (if i only get 1 this would be it)

2) teleportation

3) telepathy

Hands down the best power set IMO.

I tend to agree, but I have the "genie" problem. What's the catch? In this case, I think it's that you have no way of not accidentally killing yourself using one of the powers. What if you teleport into a brick wall? Maybe your telekinesis takes care of that...

I really like the time travel mention somebody made earlier, too.

  • Like
Reactions: Serpentlike
So, my picks are thus.

  • The ability to grant anyone, whatever super powers I would like to give them.
  • The ability to permanently copy the powers and gifts of any individual I meet.
  • Telepathy.

This effectively would lead to a world full of heroes and I would have all of their powers. Eventually becoming a god for all intents and purposes.
