I just finished watching a 2022 movie called Fire Island. The movie captures a lot of struggles in the dating world that many of us share.
Throughout the film, one character, portrayed by Bowen Yang, was frequently commented as not attractive due to being Asian and not fit.
This got me thinking about what was the stereotype in regarding an Asian man within the community.
What are the reasons for one to not want to try dating an Asian man?
Is it the lack of facial hair?
Or, is it about physical appearance (e.g., height, muscle mass)?
