Honestly I think the problem is that you're putting your head back in the first place. Your throat isn't really designed to swallow in that position.

I disagree! I think your throat isn't designed to swallow when your chin is pointed downwards (or even when it's horizontal). I always drink and swallow tablets with my head tilted slightly backwards. Maybe I'm the weird one here.

when you tilt your head back it opens up the air ways not the food pipe , when tilting it forward the air way is closed as much as it can be and the capsule will float to the back of the throat and just hover over the food pipe so when you swallow voila instandt capusle taken . wish tablets and caplets were easy as that

i think so , but if i just try to drink normaly the pill wont get pushed down pipe wil it , as it normally sticks to my tounge or roof of mouth

I read up but i couldnt see if you had mentioned if the capsule could be broken up? have you tried breaking it up? or curshing it and putting it in a yogurt? its a pretty good tasting way for folks that cant swallow pills. Just depends on if the pill has a time release coating. if not it should be ok. Hope that helps!

if all things go good with me getting this jobin few days , i may be able to afford buying yogurts so would deffinetly try that . also does yogurt have a H in it ?

Another trick I've heard is to drink water from a bottle, not a glass. The sucking action helps propel the pill down your throat.

You can spell it either way. I have always wrote it as "yogurt". But I used to do that pill trick with kids. It helps when ya got a fussy lil cousin. Lol

Well it shouldn't do, that's the odd thing. It should be more likely to stick to somewhere in your mouth if you try to swallow it in an unusual way. I think swallowing it with water or some other flat drink from a bottle rather than a glass might help.

i halfed the pill today adn had bit more sucsess but am gonna try the bottle thing tommorow thanks for the help guys
