they're likely cutting it because of international markets. countries like russia and china refuse to show movies that depict homosexuality. and just those 2 bring studios a lot of money. they don't want to risk them not showing the movie, so they'll cut the gay stuff as much as possible.
what they might do is when the movie comes out on like blue ray or whatever, they might release an extended version that includes the gay stuff
