Tattoo

Main reason i don't have any is because i'm not sure that something i might want to put on my body today would be something i still want there ten years from now. My wife has a couple and thats her business. In fact its a personal decision for each individual..just not my thing.

No tats, as swingfun says will you want them in ten years, and some of the heavily tatted people really look a mess.
Plus its a mutilation I have control over - lots of kids growing up don't have a choice and get circumcised, a not person mutilation inflicted by others.
The only prick I want is....

I have three. And while i won't say what they are. I will say that one is high in personal meaning. Had an event in my life happen which rocked my world (not in a good way) and was almost the end of me. The other two are reminders to myself not to give up. Though now that i'm older i for sure would have picked different representations to permanently mark myself with in context of the last two.

Nothing against them, but I just have no want for one myself. I think some people go a little far, tattooing their eyelids and such, but its their choice so do what you want to do dude.

My skin is factory. I've never seen any image that moved me to want it permanently emblazoned on my body.

While an occasional well placed and well done piece of art can be intriguing on someone, I'm not a fan of the heavily inked look on either men or women.

I'm also of the generation that still equates highly visible ink as confrontational. I know, intellectually, that's not necessarily true. But that's the default setting I have to combat.

Have 3 on my fingers, did this because i find it cool.

There was a time when I wanted to get one but couldn't decide on the artwork, then I lost interest and realised it's better not to follow the crowd and remain a blank canvas.

I have two, one that I got many years ago when I was 21, it doesn't have any particular meaning I just thought it was pretty cool and don't have any regrets about it. The second one I got recently with my best friend and they do mean something to both of us because they are a symbol of our friendship.

I am a blank canvas, as is Mrs. Squirrel. No desire but don’t really care if others want to. Only thing I find objectionable is those that tattoo their faces.

No I don't have any tattoos. I'm not against anyone who wants one, they're just not something I'd want for myself.

I've always felt that eventually gravity and age will make them not as good. Personally though I'm not into pain that's the main reason I don't have any.

Every now and then I have a phase where I imagine a tattoo on me, but nah. When I was like 20, I used to want the naruto tattoo around my belly button... glad i didn't do that. Don't want anything taking away from my goals, lol.
