The $10,000 10-inch challenge

I didn't call you mad. I said you were having an emotional response to what you interpreted as anger. I said I was not angry, which is true, even if you interpreted what I said as anger, which you did and confirmed in this last post. When you say "please do not be so angry" you are implying that someone is being angry. That doesn't need further explanation.

You don't have a solid understanding of physics on the most basic level. Yes, if the one and two inch marks line up perfectly, and subsequent inch marks do not line up, then that indicates that there is a problem with the image. It doesn't mean photoshop, but it does mean there is a problem. Think about it for a few seconds. The only way the relation between those markings varies is if the ruler is a different distance from the camera at one end than the other. That means that the ruler is tipped downwards, towards the floor. That means the measurement doesn't adhere to the guidelines that have been explained over and over and over. It also means that the person in the picture is manipulating their results. Try it for yourself. Measure perpendicular to the floor and pointing downwards and see the difference. It is painfully obvious in the pictures and you are in denial if you are going to continue arguing this.

This is what I mean by the comparison cannot be 100% proof of it being fake.

It's hastily done and kinda hard to see, but the 1 2 and 3 all align. The rest dont.

When you say "you can't be mad" You are implying that someone is mad. Which I am not. :p It's funny how you can't concede on this point being hypocritical.

This long winded explanation of making me seem like an absolute fool is what I mean by tone. Seriously, a picture of a ruler and lining it up is in no way possible a way to prove the ruler in the picture is off or fake. There are way to many variables to account for. The slightest angle of the ruler from being 180 degrees perpendicular to the floor can make the ruler seem "off" when placing your ruler up to the picture.

Learn to use quotes. Those are to quote something that someone said. I didn't say I can't be mad. I wouldn't say that because I am completely capable of being mad. I don't need to be mad when I'm talking to someone who doesn't understand the most basic aspects of communication, perception, or physics.

You first sentence really doesn't make sense. Please read that to yourself a few times and really think about it, then tell everyone what you think you were saying. I never implied you were mad, I implied you were emotional, and every response you provide, including the one you wrote while I was writing this while I will reply to shortly, proves.

I don't see number lining up in that picture, at least no perfectly, and they seem to be farther away as the numbers increase. So you still don't understand how angles work. Is that why you intentionally kept the lower numbers poorly lit so we can't see where they line up?

That is a rhetorical question. I think you probably don't know what that means. In short, it means don't answer. I don't want to talk to you. I think you are foolish and delusional. Your supposed evidence proves my point and your judgement is too clouded to see that. Just stop.

Okay, I really hope you have a better day. If you want to continue to insult me and use a guise of being moral, intellectually and emotionally superior, be my guest. I will no longer engage with you.

Seriously though, I hope we can continue to have cordial interactions without the harsh and insulting tone you've used against me tonight. Take care.

Taking criticism means listening to it, hearing it, and accepting it. Absolute rejection of it, even when it is only a description of what we all agree is reality is not acceptance. Accusing others of being angry for no reason other than they don't agree with you is not taking criticism. Attacking their character because you can't defend your points or attacks is not acceptance. It's not taking it. It's an emotional childish response.

There are calculators that can easily be found online that show the relative difference of measurement reflected against an angle. For example, a rule pressed a screen at 0 degrees has 0 variation. With every degree of difference that variation grows. It is evident in the example picture, and picture of the ruler on the penis. It's something we learn in middle or high school. We calculate it on more important levels. Engineers and architects use these formulas to make things that are safe for the use of the general public. Some people are so dense and emotional that they can't see this. Instead, they assume the minimal amount of information they have is the pinnacle, and instead of accepting that they don't know everything they lash out emotionally. They make accusations that they can't back up. And apparently, they make appeals to an audience with whom they think they have some favor.

For anyone else interested, my only point I was trying to make is, comparing the two rulers by taking a pic of a screen is unreliable. I've again tried to take a picture of my ruler against my own ruler picture to see how they start to skew, even though it's literally the same ruler in the same position on screen. My camera is shitty and doesn't do well with the bright screen and darkish room contrast. It keeps trying to auto focus and darken the pic due to the screens brightness.

Notice how close the 1 2 3 inch marks are but then it gets bad around4 5 and 6.
Same ruler, same position but skewed results. That is all...

You're right. The only thing it means is that the picture plane and the monitor are not exactly parallel. That's all we can take from that. Nothing else.
And it's no physics btw :joy:

How is it not physics? Are you saying it's geometry or trig? It's angles and light

As far as the pic goes, something about it looks...idunno... not as long as what the ruler shows?

It certainly looks real, but I guess there's not much to scale it. It seems like a 9-10 incher would "appear" longer relative to his thigh? Maybe it's just reeeeeaaaally thick and that throws it off. Dunno.

Sitting down adds .25" for me. Bone press looks legit, but the zero doesn't show. If it's real, it's still not a winner

Projective geometry to be exact. Just like when you make an ellipse out of a parabola just because you feel like it. Same concept here.

edit: btw I meant the right thing but said it wrong. Of course the picture plane and the monitor are parallel. The ruler in the picture isn't while the real ruler is. That's why there is a difference.

Nothing is proven unless it is witnessed. Look at my screen shot. Notice how the 1 & 2" marks line up but as You scroll up. It changes. Yeah You're prolly going to say it's the angle. I say BULLSHIT. Even a slight angle would NOT cause it to be an INCH off. Which is what it came too. So that dick pic comes to 9.25" NOT 10.25".....oh and BTW? Pic has about 25 trillion+ google hits so good luck finding said owner to claim his prize.
Now if Vanna would kindly show you the door to collect your BOOBY prize.

Oh and? My ruler is pressed up directly up against the screen and matched up with pic ruler. 1/4 dif if you look at the 5" mark
Which picture is it? I only looked at the last pic and there's no noticeable difference between the inches at the bottom and the top when held next to a ruler.

His hand has the right size (assuming around average hand size) compared to the ruler when I compare it to my average-sized hands.
The zero not showing when doing a bone-pressed measurement is to be expected.

I feel you. It looks legit and rare. I'm looking at the 7ish mark and it looks so short. Crazy

I mentioned the zero not showing because that is the stipulation for the challenge
