Mama’s family directors and producers knew what they were doing having bubbas back to the camera. Ordinarily that never happens in movies and tv.

And they made sure he wore tight jeans (not at first) to show off that nice ass...and I wonder on some of the episodes if even wore underwear, because he sometimes had major wedgie and looked like his ass was eating up his jeans.

The best we ended up with is him in a white tank top and yellow boxers in the Army checkup/inspection scene. But I am grateful for all the Allan's buns in tight jeans scenes.

I also think I remember an episode where he join the swim team and one where they are tearing the house up looking for treasure and I seem to remember him coming in shirtless and dirty because he dug up the yard before Thelma sends him upstairs to shower. I might be misremembering the last two but I know they had ginger Bubba shirtless on a beach. I remember thinking that pale skin is going to be jerky after the sun gets done.

That poorly focused beach shot was his only actual Bubba scene with no shirt. He was never shirtless on set.
