Someone needs to create a new soap specifically for streaming somewhere that embraces nudity and realistic language where called for, and has plenty of gay characters.

The old soaps are still too tied to the network mentality even when liberated like Days.

One thing that stopped that was money. They don't have the budgets they use to so usually they only film what progresses a story. I wish they had bigger budgets. I'm tired of the same sets used for everything. Like we don't know on Days The Bistro and Kiriakis sets are the same. Same with everyone room at the hospital and police department.
Yes, they teased in the 90s, and there were plenty of extended (straight) love scenes and scantily clad men in the 80s, but things have gotten way more conservative in the last 20 years. Some attitudes have progressed in regard to showing same sex relationships, but it's not very steamy compared to the hot and heavy loves scenes of yesteryear.

I wonder if Greg got a hard on while filming that scene?
I'm sure he did, and then jacked off afterwards. Same with that scene when he kissed Eric Martsolf

Wait… how long has Christopher Sean been back on DAYS? I stopped watching when Chandler Massey left.

He’s not a contract player. He’s been back a handful of times for family events. This time, Paul was back in town for a few episodes accompanying his partner (Andrew Donovan) to his sister Teresa’s wedding (which didn’t happen). Last time was Christmas to meet his freshly discovered granddaddy (Dick Van Dyke). Now that Ron is no longer writing, I doubt we’ll see scenes like this anymore, even as tame as it was.
