When you're jumping the fence and living in a new land, good manners are very important. Learning the ways of the natives and mixing in without creating waves is the best method.

I think that both she and I are doing our best to both intermingle with SF members and the “new to us” crowd. No one is looking for drama, especially myself. I think any rational person can see this thread and see zero malicious intent by either of us. We saw a thread about redheads, looked and added content. If you think there was something more to it, you are mistaken. If either of us were to post in the wrong category/tag, then by all means, put me on blast. I’m not a fan of that either, but I will likely fuck up and I’m happy to hear when I do, so I can be aware and of it.

Anyone having a hard time with this sudden change in membership should take a step back and realize that we're here to enjoy ourselves. If someone is posting content you don't enjoy, you can scroll past it, or if you feel it breaks the terms of service (spam, trolling etc) report it to the moderators.

@SexyFantasyGirl maybe start a thread for Women with read hair? Women are definitely welcome to post, and images of women are not violations either, but maybe take the temperature of a thread, then jump in.

I think the issue is that newbies are trying to not create similar/copy threads, and we added to preexisting ones to avoid repetition. No one was being disrespectful. Had she created one, she ran the risk of being told there already was one.

There is also spamming a thread even if the content is not Off Topic. One or two images a post seems to be the general pattern of the thread.

Wanna post a nekkid red-headed lady? Fine. Posting 15 nekkid red-headed ladies in a row is poor message board etiquette.

There is something to said to respecting ya host's house. Even if you are technically within the lines of ToS ya content is not welcome in this thread. You are aware of this. This is the second time that I am aware if your posting habits have disrupted long established thread.

Technically. The OP's request was for pics from other red heads, redheads posting pictures of themselves. The post evolved to includes photos of all red-heads, with a strong emphasis on male redheads.

No one is using “loopholes”. The thread wasn’t categorized as gay, or male/female exclusive. Just red heads. That to me would read as anything goes. Again, I know this site is more gay than not by a long stretch, but since it’s not exclusively gay. Those non-designated area are where anyone can post anything as long as rules are followed. If someone wants an all gay redhead thread, have at it. Same goes for redhead women. Or we can all just put on our big kid pants and coexist. The latter seems much easier, but that’s just me.

Certainly, the women who might post here could make a new thread, but they don’t have to. It’s an open forum.

Ours didn’t appeal to you, nor your appealed to me. I just scroll on by and look at what I like. If no rules are broken, no one should be mad. I agree with @gr8gatsby in moving it so no one else assumes this place is safe to post female images of redheads.

There will be a learning curve for those of us who have been here. Change isn't always easy, we do the best we can. The nature of this site will likely change a lot. It's been overwhelming accepting of all,types of people in the past. I hope that isn't lost going forward.

No. Absolutely not. This thread has been here, in this forum, since 2007. Any confusion has only been an issue in the last week.

This goes to everyone: before hitting post take a bit of time to actually read a few pages/posts of the thread you are posting in. Does ya post fit the flavor of the thread? No? Don't fucking post.

This. I will admit I didn’t dig through 250 pages of posts to establish a majority gender. That sounds preposterous. We need to be able to rely on post location and descriptions to abide properly. But it sounds like this has been derailed before (members/internet pics). It’s now being derailed because the byproducts are byproducts that aren’t favorable to some.

I’m all for separate posts, I just felt I should chime in because I think she saw what I saw-an open forum. I actually added a few myself. Has I known of the shitstorm that would ensue, I would have certainly held back.

ETA: I don't think the guys would have said anything about a few images of women. SFG filled up several pages of content in a matter of minutes. Pussy or Dick, spamming is against the rules and rude by message board culture

Yep, and I saw redheads galore. I know I’m going to see more males in many if not all threads that aren’t female only, so it’s not really a safe way to judge a thread. I looked and saw where it was posted and it looked ok to me. So I posted.
