I used to follow him on snapchat in February until I saw him with a MAGA hat and he liked a post about the 'Chinese hoax' on facebook.

This is tragic and we don't know the reason why he passed away.
I hope he is in a better place.
Imagine how hard is it for his dad & sister!!

This is indeed sad news, especially around the holidays. He seemed like a nice guy from the videos and various posts I've seen (I never met him nor interacted on any social platform). To pass at a young age with such obvious zest for life is truly sad. My heart goes out to his family.

I grew up in that area and it’s a sad place. Lots of mental health and drug issues common in WV. No death at a young age makes sense, but I do hope it wasn’t suicide.

Cause of death as stated by his mother.

Barr shared with those gathered some information that most did not know. She pointed out that memorial donations are requested for juvenile scleroderma, a disease Markley was diagnosed with at the end of first grade. Juvenile scleroderma is a rare disease that affects the skin and connective tissue.

Barr explained that Tony’s scleroderma was en coup de sabre, a term used when linear scleroderma affects the forehead.

“That’s why he always wore a hat,” Barr said. “My son dealt with that. He stayed positive and turned his adversity around. He struggled with that but always stayed positive.”

She shared that while the disease left repercussions of weakened blood vessels that took his life, Markley would want every person at the vigil to push forward and to stay positive.​

The listed cause of death is a brain aneurysm. Those things can take you at anytime, which is sad. Hopefully he didn't suffer.
