Yes, constantly. This is my biggest issue with OF content creators. Most say they respond to all DMs, but in reality they dont. Or, they respond in 2 weeks. Its so frustrating.

It is literally Russian Roulette. I try to look for reviews here, or ask then directly on reddit/twitter about content, but you never know. I have been ripped off so much. I tend to try and go for newer guys without the inflated egos some of the bigger performers have. One dude tried to ask for $500 for a custom lol. Ill pass, thanks.

Be careful. There are A LOT of scammers on OF particularly performers catering to gay men. They will hook you in and get you addicted and then bilk you out of hundreds or thousands of dollars for worthless 5 minute supposed fuck shows and promised videos that never materialize. These guys are experts on how to manipulate gay men into paying for love they will never have. Not every OF performer is a scammer, of course, but even those that are not still try to make it seem like they have an interest in you by posting messages to your DM feed. Rarely do they respond to messages you type back. Yet, the illusion of intimacy with their audience is all about keeping them hooked; they get to fuck like rabbits and you pay them to watch it all the while feeling like you actually matter to them. The truth is you do ONLY if you have money.
That's pretty awful and shitty of them to scam people like that! I myself have never gotten caught up in that, the most I've paid for an OF is $15( It wasn't great but he nuked his account afterwards and I archived the vids so It wasn't a total waste).
I just had a situation with three content stars I followed, all of whom send a generic message of welcome and all stated they responded to ALL messages. Well, I sent the same query about custom vides to all three. It took one three weeks to reply, the same with another and the third is yet to respond. I have unsubscribed from all three. Why bother? These guys need to learn the 101 basics of engaging with a fanbase.

Austin Wolfe - the angle and the positions stay the same, it is just the other guys he's playing with who change. And he seems to go into robot mode while going through the actions. It is such a dull formula now with him. Years back, he was one of the hottest guys in porn. Now, he is so bored. And if he's not, he certainly looks it. Absolutely!! All great ideas tbh. But it ain't gonna happen. OF seems to love allowing these creators to be as sleazy and lazy as possible so...

Agreed. Thankfully the ones I follow it may take them a while to reply but that's cause they actually go through all their messages regardless if their money attached to them or not. But a lot of them on OF will not give you the time of day especially if its without a tip. Hell a friend of mine follows a content creator on there and asked him a simple question about will he do any collabs in the future, no response days later still nothing so he tipped the dude then resent his message and suddenly it's " not right now, thanks for the tip though" Dude didnt even bother to look until he say cash.
