I have bought a couple of different thongs, with negative results. The thongs don't cover my junk adequately, don't highlight my ass, and are uncomfortable.

Depending on how well-endowed you are some of the Kinki g-strings might help.
I find the bulk of most thongs is uncomfortable between the arse cheeks but the thin string of a g-string is totally OK (unless you buy too small a size or pull it up too tight.

Different brands of thongs are geared for different purposes: some are more pouch like, others are small/minimal pouch, somenare designed for all day wear, etc

Are you trying mens or womens thongs? Mens thongs will hold your bulge better. JM thongs are great and comfortable. Buy a basic 2xist y-back thong which has a good sized pouch. Or a CK body thong.

I only want thongs where the pouch has sufficient stretch to take any size cock without creating a situation where bits of your balls are sticking out. I'm also into bulge thongs which push your equipment up and out. As for the back I look for styles that have as tiny a triangle of cloth as possible above my ass crack.
